Vibrant Equity is a Toronto-based independent sponsor that acquires, builds, and operates businesses in partnership with founders and management teams. Our team brings decades of experience across investment banking, private equity, and operations. We put that experience to work inside the companies we invest in.
We partner with founders seeking a transition, management teams looking to scale, and businesses ready for their next chapter. Whether through platform development, strategic acquisitions, or operational improvement, we take an active role in driving growth. Our approach is collaborative by design. Rob Tudhope
Managing Director

Rob has over 15 years of experience across banking, corporate development, and equity research. He spent more than a decade at Citibank and BNP Paribas, where he covered Canadian financial institutions and government clients within their corporate and investment banking teams. Most recently, he was part of the leadership team behind the launch of a greenfield high-speed passenger ferry in British Columbia.

Rob holds an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University and is a CFA Charterholder. Since 2016, he has served on the Board of Haven Toronto, a drop-in centre supporting elderly men impacted by poverty, homelessness, and social isolation.
Henry Tong
Vice President

Henry Tong is a Vice President at Vibrant Equity. Previously, he served with Strategy&, PwC’s global corporate and business strategy practice, and Northland Power’s (TSX: NPI) power and utilities investments team.

Henry holds a B.A. from the University of Toronto.
